Champaign County Young Republicans consists of young people between the ages of 18 and 40. It was formed to support the Republican Party, its ideology, and its members in the greater Champaign County area. CCYR's main initiative is offering quality social and political events while educating Republican voters, recruiting and campaigning for candidates.

Habeeb G. Habeeb, Jason Barickman, John Farney, Kristin Williamson, and Gordy Hulten invite you to the 2010 membership drive for the Champaign County Young Republicans. As you all know, this year will be a huge election for all Republicans. We need the support, enthusiasm and energy of our local young Republicans to propel our candidates to victory. We invite all Republicans, young and young at heart, to welcome our guest speaker, Lt. Governor Candidate Jason Plummer. He will speak about the opportunities for Republicans in the months ahead as well as encourage involvement within CCYR.
We encourage all young republicans to join the CCYRs. For just $25 for the entire year, you will enjoy invitations to select events, reduced rates for political functions, chances to meet candidates, and opportunities to run key aspects of local and state political campaigns. Plus, your membership will help pay for CCYR-only gatherings and activities.

Paint the Town Red with Congressman Aaron Schock
Champaign County Young Republicans invite you to Paint the Town Red at our 4th annual networking party on Sunday, November 1, 2009, from 7:30-9:30pm, at Boltini Lounge. This year we welcome Rep. Aaron Schock, the youngest member of the United States Congress as our special guest. Each year, over 100 Young Republicans, elected officials and community leaders come together for this formal evening of networking and fun to benefit the Champaign County Young Republicans. The Champaign County Young Republicans organization will hold their annual business meeting to elect officers and vote on constitution amendments on Thursday, September 24, 2009, at the Champaign Public Library (200 W. Green Street, Champaign, IL) in the Library Friends Conference Room (215) at 6:30 P.M.
Nominations for the offices of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary are now being accepted. Registered members of the Champaign County Young Republicans who are in good standing are eligible to run for club offices, and cast a vote at the meeting.
